Eurowings adds a new route to Lebanon from Hamburg.
The German low-cost airline Europwings has just announced the launch of a new service that connects the Elbe city of Hamburg with the Lebanese capital Beirut. As of November 7, 2021, the Lufthansa Group's own airline will fly non-stop between Hamburg Airport (HAM) and Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY).

Direct nonstop flights begin Sundays at 7:00 a.m. from the northern German port city and land in the Lebanese capital at 12:10 p.m. Eurowings uses one of its 48 Airbus A320200s on the Europe-Middle East route. The return flight departs the same day at 1:00 p.m. at Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY) and lands in Hamburg at 4:35 p.m. local time.
Starting December 17, 2021, the Düsseldorf-based airline will double its flights to Paris in the Middle East with an additional flight at the same times on Fridays.
In a statement about the new flights from Hamburg to Beirut dated September 30, 2021, the German low-cost airline notes that it has a lot of experience with flights to the Lebanese capital.
Eurowings offers flights from Berlin Brandenburg Willy Brandt Airport (BER) and Düsseldorf International Airport (DUS) to Beirut from December 2020. Hamburg to Beirut will be the third direct connection between Germany and Lebanon in the Eurowings network.
The new route from Hamburg to Beirut expands the Eurowings program to include the segment "Visiting friends and family". The program was already integrated into flights to various destinations in Greece, Turkey, Croatia and even Erbil International Airport (EBL) in northern Iraq. In July 2021, Eurowings added flights from Germany to Tbilisi in Georgia and to Yekaterinburg and Krasnodar in Russia to its "Visiting Friends and Family".
Eurowings connected Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN) with Zvartnots International Airport (EVN) in Armenia's capital Yerevan in August. Last month, the Lufthansa subsidiary also added flights between Düsseldorf and Kiev Boryspil International Airport (KPB) in Ukraine.
Eurowings is proud to be a leader in this market segment, offering low-cost flights from Germany and will continue to expand its network to meet demand. According to the LCC, more and more travelers are benefiting from direct connections between Germany and their home country. Eurowings now offers more than 100 direct flights from German airports to destinations in Europe.
Eurowings says that flights between Hamburg and Beirut can now be booked through the website or the app at prices starting at EUR 119.99 one way.

Austrian Airlines works together to provide Flights between Austria and Germany Optimization. Eurowings has taken over the Stuttgart-Gratz route from Austria and offers five weekly flights. While Austria now connects its capital, Vienna, with the city of Hannover, in Lower Saxony, with daily flights.
